How do you travel home from work?
Setting alarms and then straight into the car. Music on (or Radio 4 as long as the presenter isn't too fatuous or shouty). Only a 20 minute drive but it always has a feel of urgency about it, as though the world won't stop chasing until I can close the front door behind me.

Tonia - Yes haste is contagious indeed. Hope you have a good week.
DeleteYour photo and quote reminded me of that scene in the film "Howards End" where everyone is under an umbrella rushing home after the Beethoven concert. You always find the best quotes!
ReplyDeleteSunday - Oh yes you're quite right about the scene in Howard's End. Thank you for your kind words.

ReplyDeleteLilac - I'm not sure how productive I'd be if I worked from home, though I like the idea of walking to the end of the garden.
