Paris in July
One of the many lovely things about blogging are the annual events. Paris in July is one of them. This year I'm going to read Lunch in Paris by Elizabeth Bard and The Mirador, Dreamed memories of Irene Nemirovsky by her daughters, by Elisabeth Gille. Then on the 21st July we are actually going to Paris for the day.

DeleteLucky you! I was in Paris last year and had a wonderful time. And there is so much to read before going on a trip like that. The city of lights has inspired many, many writers! Bon voyage!

DeleteLucky you. I used to be able to go to Paris for the day from Ramstein,Germany. Our bus would leave 2:00 A.M. and leave Paris around 6:P.M. I went w/husband or children or separate teenage artist son, alone-anyway I could get there. How I miss it. My books, history, art, travel narratives,photos etc. are a small substitute.Blogs as yours also help! Thanks

ReplyDeleteBrenda - The advantage of living in London, England & there be a fast train between the two cities. We'll go under the tunnel & out the other side. It will take about 2 1/2 hours but with the hours time difference. Can't wait!

DeleteHow fun to get to Paris for just a day -- to be that close! I'm doing Paris in July too, at Marmelade Gypsy, and was there in April. I'm still posting my posts from that trip! A lot to process in a couple of weeks -- the blogging is longer than the trip! Stop by if you have a chance!
