The exact science escapes me too - but it is a marvellous thing, that forming of a proper little person, with opinions and likes and hopes all of it's own.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy over the next month!
Tonia - Isn't it amazing. I've just started maternity leave so do intend to take it easy.
DeleteHow very exciting - even when you know the science (or possibly more so when you know the science) I think creating a baby is magical.
ReplyDeleteSiobhan - Yes it is so very magical, & yet so real as well.
DeleteOn an episode of Call the Midwives someone said childbirth is 'the commonplace miracle'. I think we often forget how so very special it is. My sister is also due on June 9. I will be thinking of both of you that day.
ReplyDeleteAnbolyn - A date twin! Wishing your sister all the very best & cool weather for the last month.
DeleteSo true, lovely post.
ReplyDeleteLilac - a perfect short sweet comment.
DeleteLovely quote ... I suppose we are all hoping souls really, but a newborn hoping soul is so precious and special. Very best wishes. xCathy
ReplyDeleteCathy - yes perhaps we are all hoping souls, it's a wonderful description of being human.
