What are your Christmas traditions?
It's not a very uplifting one, but when my siblings and I were in college, we started ignoring the real Christmas breakfast and eating the cookies instead. Cookies for breakfast has become a long-standing tradition, passed down to the nieces and nephews...though they're too old to believe our great-grandparents did so, too. :) And Christmas music! My dad always made tapes full of all kinds of music and it's the sound of the holidays for me. Merry Christmas, Joan, and all best wishes for the new year!

We are starting a new tradition of setting up the train set around the tree amongst all the presents so I am impatiently waiting for George to be fast asleep first! (It is taking a very long time!)

DeleteOur breakfast always includes homemade scones or coffee cake with orange juice and coffee for present opening. We munch on cookies all day. I love the traditions. Merry Christmas!
