a delightful little Tudor gem

That's very true - those 'Tudor gems' are very dark in the winter, and full of handily placed beams! Reminds me of the Tudor parlour in Lucia's house at Riseholme in the wonderful Mapp & Lucia books.
ReplyDeleteTonia - I've yet to read Mapp & Lucia - do you recommend them? They never quite make it high enough up my list of tbr.
