My day in books

This really caught my attention and so I had a go myself.

I began the day with Breakfast at Tiffany's.
On my way to work I saw Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire
and walked by Union Street
to avoid Mrs Tim and the regiment
but I made sure to stop at The Moon and Sixpence.
In the office, my boss said "Excellent Women"
and sent me to research Chocolat.
At lunch with The Third Miss Symon's
I noticed The Cat
under Miss Buncle's Book
then went back to my desk All Passion Spent.
Later, on the journey home, I bought Snowdrops
because I have Round about a pound a week.
Then settling down for the evening, I picked up The hand that first held mine
and studied The Virgin Suicides

before saying goodnight to The Ladies of Lyndon.

Christmas Reading

  1. Another fantastic edition of this meme! And oh how I wish my boss would send me to research chocolate.

  2. I loved reading this and recognising many books that I was to read! I am currently reading Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and really enjoying it.

  3. Darlene - Yes I was quite pleased with that one.
Jo Ann - Thank you it was such fun.
Bookish Space - I think that's what made it such fun reading other people's - the connection of each other's reading. Glad you're enjoying Georgiana.

  4. I always go back to my desk that way! :) Excellent! And I adore the Christmas tree. Happy holidays, Joan!

  5. Great answers and I see you've had an excellent reading year. Great choices up there.

  6. Audrey Glad you like All Passion Spent line. I did too.
